STRATEGIC DECISION REVIEW

Have your decision examined in depth.

An independent, personally authored and fully researched evaluation delivered as a comprehensive advisory brief.

I examine one important decision in depth — the available evidence, assumptions, risks, alternatives and unanswered questions, with additional research where needed.

BEYOND THE IMMEDIATE QUESTION

The choice in front of you is rarely the whole decision.

An opportunity may be legally workable, financially attractive and commercially promising—yet still carry consequences that no single specialist assessment was intended to resolve.

Specialists provide essential answers within their respective fields.

But even sound individual findings do not necessarily establish whether a commitment makes sense for the person or business making it.

A Strategic Decision Review examines what those answers mean together.

It considers the available evidence, your objectives, competing priorities, dependencies and alternatives—not as isolated questions, but as parts of one consequential decision.
It does not replace qualified specialist advice or make the final choice for you.

WHAT THE REVIEW EXAMINES

OBJECTIVE & ROUTE

Are you pursuing the underlying objective—or simply the opportunity currently in front of you?

A different route may achieve the same purpose with fewer compromises or more favourable consequences.

EVIDENCE & ASSUMPTIONS

What is established, what is assumed, and what remains unknown?

The distinction matters most where an untested assumption or missing fact could materially change the assessment.

OPTIONS & CONSEQUENCES

What must continue to hold true for this commitment to work?

The Review examines where success depends on people, organisations or circumstances beyond your control—and the consequences if those conditions change.

EXPOSURE & DEPENDENCE

What would you gain, surrender or make harder to reverse?

Proceeding, waiting, restructuring or declining may each carry different costs, obligations and future possibilities.

WHERE THIS MATTERS

BUSINESS & OWNERSHIP

A partnership that looks promising.
A venture at a crossroads.

Attractive commercial terms do not necessarily resolve questions of control, changing incentives or exit.

Equally, the capital, effort and reputation already invested in a venture explain why stopping is difficult—not why continuing is justified.

CAREER & PROFESSIONAL DIRECTION

An opportunity that changes more than your career.

A new position, independent venture or departure from an established path may offer advancement while creating new dependencies or limiting future choices.

Professional success and personal suitability are not always the same question.

CROSS-BORDER & PERSONAL DECISIONS

A move that changes more than your location.

Relocation or a major personal transition can affect financial independence, family obligations, professional prospects and the freedom to change course.

An attractive destination is only one part of the decision about the life it would create.

The individual answers may be sound.
The decision as a whole may remain unresolved.

FOUNDER & STRATEGIC ADVISOR

Dr Anna Durisch

Anna Durisch works where vision meets reality.

For more than twenty-five years, Anna Durisch’s international work has bridged finance, economic policy, governance and international affairs, business and feasibility, human rights and cross-border projects.

Her experience extends far beyond financial and commercial considerations of human, institutional, and other competing interests that determine what happens in practice.

She identifies the risks and consequences that might be overlooked when a situation is considered only from one perspective.

Her role is not to make the decision for the client, but to bring independent judgment to the enitre landscape.

Judgment before commitment.

SERVICES & FEES

What each engagement includes

Durisch Advisory offers two distinct services: a private consultation with Anna or an independently researched, written assessment of one important decision.

PRIVATE STRATEGIC CONSULTATION

CHF 400 · 60 minutes

The discussion examines your concerns, questions your assumptions and explores possible alternatives and consequences.

Anna reviews a short summary of your situation beforehand so the conversation can focus on what matters.

STRATEGIC DECISION REVIEW

One decision. A wider field of analysis.

For decisions that require independent examination beyond a conversation, Anna personally studies the relevant information, conducts research where necessary and prepares a written assessment with a reasoned Strategic Conclusion.

FOCUSED

CHF 1,200

A clearly defined decision.

For one decision with a concentrated body of relevant information and a limited number of possible routes.

The question may be difficult, but the matters requiring examination have clear boundaries.

STRATEGIC

CHF 2,400

Several connected considerations. One decision.

For a decision involving a broader set of facts, competing options, stakeholders or dependencies.

The analysis examines how these issues interact and what they mean for the commitment being considered.

EXTENDED

CHF 4,800

One decision with substantially wider implications.

For a decision involving multiple interacting parties, stages, alternatives or consequences, supported by a more extensive body of evidence.

The examination is broader, but remains centred on one clearly defined decision.

The scope changes. The standard of judgment does not.

Every Strategic Decision Review is personally examined and written to the same standard. A wider scope means more of the decision is considered—not that the client receives better judgment.

Consultations and written Reviews are separate engagements. Calls are not included in a written Review.

All enquiries are screened for suitability. The service, scope and fee are confirmed in writing before engagement and payment.
